
Madison Elle Beer, a Long Island, New York, resident and music enthusiast, was an avid listener and experimenter from the time she was 10 years old. In 2012, Madison Elle Beer posted videos of her singing covers of famous songs. Justin Bieber, the pop idol, spotted her rendition of Etta Jam's "At Last", and shared the song with his more than 25 million Twitter followers. The publicity resulted in her to sign a recording contract with Island Records and a management deal with Bieber's manager the next year. Around that time, Beer was also cast as a supporting character in the film Louder Than Words, which featured David Duchovny and made its film festival premiere late in 2013. Her first single"Melodies," a melismatic and poppy track "Melodies," also saw its release in the middle of the year.Beer's vocals began appearing on other artists' songs including Cody Simpson's "Valentine" and the 2015 club track "I Will Not Let You Walk Away" by Mako. She released her debut solo album, As She Likes in the year of 2018. The lead single "Home with You", which made it to the Top 30 in Norway, was also a hit. The EP reached the top of the Billboard 200. In the same year Beer released the single from the album "Hurts Like Hell" featuring Offset.
